At your second visit, your dentist will install the permanent crown. You can expect each portion of the procedure to take around 30 minutes to an hour.

What Happens During the Procedure for a Tooth Bridge?

A dental bridge procedure generally involves two visits to your dentist to complete. The first visit is where your dentist will remove a small portion of enamel from the abutment teeth. Molds are then made of the teeth so that your bridge and crowns can be created. You’ll have to wear a temporary bridge until the permanent device is completed. Your permanent bridge will be placed and adjusted at your second visit.
