As a child I spent many hours in the dental chair because of my love for candy. As I was in the chair I was fascinated by the terms, procedures and equipment. I was fortunate to know from a very young age that this was the job for me.
After earning my BS at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, my DDS at Marquette Dental School, and my GPR at Meriter Hospital, I searched for a career in which I could use the techniques I learned, adapt to new techniques and work closely with my patients to improve their dental experience.
When I began talking with Dr. Volm, I loved the environment he had established at his office. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Art of Modern Dentistry team as they strive for comfort and excellence.
I began my career with The Art of Modern Dentistry in 1979, serving friends and family at our New Berlin location. Today my team and I continue to serve our loyal patients as well as welcome new patients of a wider radius in Milwaukee.
Having earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Marquette University, I was selected from the top 10% of my class to continue with advanced training in many specialty fields at Illinois’ large Great Lakes Dental facility, at Bethesda Naval and Walter Reed Army Hospitals. My education and the continuous support I receive is the reason I am able to offer these advanced skills to patients. I work to incorporate the cosmetic arts that I developed in 1974 and advance my knowledge and improve my scope of care, judgment and attention to detail that many of my patients rely upon.
